Overview
The brief.
Softquo Poker Cards was created as a promotional piece for ICE, one of the world’s largest international events for the iGaming industry. Rather than producing conventional corporate merchandise, the idea was to use an object directly associated with gaming to attract attention, encourage interaction and introduce clients to the different companies within the Softquo holding. The deck was structured around the four traditional suits, with each one representing a different company within the group. The cards became a communication tool in themselves, presenting their respective products, services and key features while bringing everything together within a single collectible piece designed specifically for the event.
The Challenge
More than a promotional giveaway.
The challenge was to communicate a considerable amount of information about different companies and their respective offerings without turning the deck into a conventional corporate brochure. It still needed to feel like an engaging object connected to the gaming industry — something visitors would want to pick up, explore and keep after the event.
the solution
Four suits, four companies.
The familiar structure of a poker deck provided the framework for organising the information: each suit was assigned to one of the companies within the Softquo holding, allowing its products, services and characteristics to be distributed throughout the cards. Softquo’s blue tones and typography bring visual consistency to the complete set, while the playing-card format transforms corporate information into a more engaging and memorable experience.
